This is Number 1: \[\frac{ 5 }{ a-5 }-1=\frac{ a }{ a-5 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is Number 2: \[\frac{ 3 }{ 3x-2 }=\frac{ 4 }{ 2x+1 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can anyone help me with these and then ill add the other questions after..Thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what does the question want to find?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It just says solve the given equation, so i am assuming that they want you to find "x" and "a" in each im just not sure how you are suppose to do so..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{5}{a-5}-\frac{a-5}{a-5}=\frac{a}{a-5}\]\[\frac{a+10}{a-5}=\frac{a}{a-5}\]\[a+10=a\]no solutions exist

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{3}{3x−2}=\frac{4}{2x+1}\]your turn to do this one :s.. cross multiply it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[3(2x+1)=4(3x-2)\]
