suppose the cost function for a certain product is given by C(x)=10x+3000 and the revenue function for the product is given by R(x)=60x+2000. find a profit function for this situation (profit+revenue -cost)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

P(x) = r(x) - c(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so P(x)= 50x+1000?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that;s odd. I thought when you subtract a greater number from a smaller number, you get a negative number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

P(x)= 60x + 2000- 10x +3000 subtract 2000 60x-10x+1000 50x+1000
