how would you simplify (order of operations) the following? 5(10-7)/(12-9). i know the order but what is suppose to happen with the 5?

Just follow PEMDAS Parenthesis first, then multiplication/division(whichever comes first): 5(10 - 7) /(12 - 9) 5(3) / (3) 15 /3 =
