find the slope of the line that passes thru each pair of points: (5,2)(5,-2). I have -4/0. Is that correct?

Directrix (directrix):

No. -4/0 is not the slope of the line. The vertical line determined by the points (5,2) and(5,-2) has no slope. Slope of a line is determined by change in y over change in x. The change in x = 0 which indeed does yield -4/0 which is undefined.
