Find the average value of f on [0,8]
It shows a graph, but I'm not sure if we can post pix on here at least not in the asking part of the Q. ....
So values are the following
f(0) = -1
f(1) = 0
f(2) = 1
f(3) = 0
f(4) = 2
f (5) = 2
f (6) =2
f(7) = 1
f(8) =3

And yes, I wrote next to it that the answer is 9/8, because that's what it is.... I'm just wondering how to get there.
