a ) -2w^2 - 7w basically you have a(b +c ), you multiply a by each variable present inside the brackets (if they cannot be simplified within the brackets. So, it becomes, ab + ac. In other cases you have, x/a(b+c). Deal with denominator as shown above^. But you take the reciprocal of the denominator and multiply it to both numerator and denominator. factor from there,
