how would I solve the inequality for v, if v- 8 is less than or equal to 20

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

\[v-8\le20\]

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

\[v \le 28\]

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

Simply move the 8 over to the other side, remember*** with inequalities, the sign flips when you divide or multiply by a negative number. but in this case we are doing simple addition and subtraction.

Thanks that helped. What about this one, How do I solve the inequality for V. 15 > V + 10 while simplifying the answer

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

Not sure exactly the inequality you mean..?

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

\[v*15 > v +10\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

15 > v + 10, That's what the question is: how do I solve the inequality for v
