Multicombinations in combinatorics: Can anyone give me intuition and proof why the formula for solving multicombinations is as follows:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

_____ \[\left(\begin{matrix}n \\ k\end{matrix}\right) = \left(\begin{matrix}n+k-1 \\ k\end{matrix}\right)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

damn latex doesn't allow a line over that... so I did it manually :)

Directrix (directrix):

The math processor is at 0%. I cannot read the problem.

Multicombination(n, k) = Combination(n+k-1, k)
