same thing as humans, genetics get derived from parents to their offspring creating a somewhat genetic clone affect, like a cow and cow would make a calf and a duck and duck would make a duckling it is the main role in animal production and it classifys the animal classes differently for example categories would be Dogs and Cats it cannot be the same because dogs and cats have different characteristics.
