Anyway, the quadratic equation is an equation where the degree is 2.
So the format for a quadratic equation is:
\[ax ^{2} + bx + c = 0\]
And the solution for x is:
\[x = \frac{ \sqrt{b ^{2} - 4ac} }{ 2a }\]
