u know how to find equation of line when 2 points are given ?
that is slope :) m=4/5 the equation will be y=mx+c y=(4/5)x+c now put any point say (x,y)=(4,6) in this and find c can u ?
any point from (-1,2) and (4,6) so i chose (4,6) ..... (4,6) is one point only, not 2. when i put that in y = (4/5)x + c i get 6=(4/5)*4 +c now find c from here.
good. so the equation of your line will be y=(4/5)x+14/5 or multiplying 5 on both sides, we get. 5y=4x+14. ok?
can u spot the point (4,6) in graph ?
