How does having a large, sweet fruit benefit a plant?
Sweet fruits entice animals to ingest them and carry the seeds either on their body or in their digestive system. Many seeds cannot be digested and are excreted in another location. It is in the plant's benefit to distribute its seeds over a large area so all the seeds will have enough resources to grow well.
the sweetest part which we eat is rich n carbohydrates.. they help in growth of embryo during the germination process...
If the fruit is sweet, it will attract an animal to eat it. when animals eat fruits that contain seeds, the seed comes out the other end in their feces. This helps the plant to reproduce as the seed is dropped somewhere else, ready to grow and start the process again.
