How do i find the magnitude and direction?

your vectors are in polar form: length and angle.
change them to rectangular coordinates and add vectors to get the resultant
with A= (ax,ay) and B=(bx,by) C= (ax+bx, ay+by)
use -C for the vector that returns to the cave
