PUZZLE FOR EVERYONE!!!
You want to buy shoes that cost 97$ right? you ask your parents for $$, ur dad gives you 50$ & ur mom gives you 50$. You now have 100. 100-97 is 3$ left, RIGHT? so you give 1$ to ur mom & 1$ to ur dad, you keep 1$ to urself, you now owe both ur parents 49$ right? 49+49 is? 98$ plus the dollar you kept is 99$.....right? but the shoes were 97 how did you end up with 99?

actually, eventually, it's as if each parent had given you $49 each, totaling $98.
in that $98, you buy shoes for $97 & keep a dollar with you. I don't see the puzzle here :/

you see, 49+49=98.
So, $98 is in my pocket.
I go to the shoe store, buy shoes for $97 & keep the change ($1) in my pocket.
When my parent's ask me, i tell them, "i spent $97 on the shoes & i have the remaining $1 in my pocket".
^makes sense right? No extra dollar.

I mean, yes, you do owe 50 cents to each parent. This situation arises bcos the cost of the shoes is 97, an odd number. If your parents had to split the cost in half & they had the change, they would have to shell out $48.50 each.

the POINT: you were suppose to keep 1$ to urself becuz it wasnt ur money
if you were to spolt the 3 dollars it would have to be 1.50 to each person
