What is the golden ratio? Like in simple terms(; and what would an example of how the golden rectangle might have been used in art or architecture? i know pyramids but not sure why.
The ratio of height to width (or width to height) of rectangles that appeal to the eye is called the ‘golden ratio’ and its value is 1.6 : 1.
if yu can figure out the ratio then yu pretty much have the answer
um then how does it apply to architecture?
ok now that i got to brain storm on
nvm i got it, ima use the parthenon
would this be an alright way to explain golden ratio? the golden ratio is when you divide a line into two different lengths and when you divide the bigger side by the smaller one, they give you the same answer you would get if you divided the whole line by the bigger side.
