Question

I am solving a finite markov chain problem, and it calls for finding solutions after 2, 3, 5 and 10 year periods. I know the basic solution is supposed to be [A B] [ markov transition matrix] ^n, but Im not sure exactly how to "raise" a matrix to the nth degree.
