Given lim f(x)=5 x->c, Find the following Lim 2f(x) x->c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if f(x) = 5 then plug in 5 for 2f(x) so it'll be 2*5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can do that math ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plug in 5 for f(x) in 2f(x) *

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i figured, it would be lim10 x->10, but is that he is asking for? what about the lim->c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

saying the limit as x approaches c is just saying as it approaches a constant, if I remember correctly, it shouldn't be of any affect

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*effect
