Please help me!! Greatly appreciated. This is my last question and I can't seem to get it. On January 1, 2010, Chessville has a population of 50,000 people. Chessville then enter a period of population growth. Its population increases 7% each year. On the same day, Checkersville has a population of 70,000 people. Checkersville starts to experience a population decline. Its population decreases 4% each year. During what year will the population of Chessville first exceed that of Checkersville?
chessville is Calclated by 50000 times 1.07 times t (we dont know the time) 1.07 because thats 100% plus 7% Checkerville is 70000 times 1.04 times 1.04 because its 100% plus 4%. since we want to know when when Chessville is > Checkerville so solve this \[50000\times1.07\times t>70000\times1.04 \times t\]
the t you get is how many years from 2010 checkerville is more so add it to 2010
TAKEBACKMATH is wrong
