The local radio station is giving away some tickets to the circus. Adult tickets cost the station $8 each while children’s tickets cost $6. The station wants to spend no more than $172. Let number of adult tickets and number of children’s tickets. Show all possible solutions by graphing a linear inequality.

u make it more simple as 4x+3y=86 and then draw the graph
one can solve here for either x or y or x= 86/4 -3y/4=43/2 -(3/4) y now if choose such values of y for which x is +ve integer
anyone good at differential calculus?
one can check the ans as (20,2) as one of the answer and hence onwards with before x reaches -ve
thus the solution set (x,y)==>(20,2),(17,6),(14,10),(11,14)(8,18),(5,22),(2,26)
