why the velocity of light do not depend on frequency when it is through any environment?

frequency means oscillations .here light is coming from a source which is oscillating .change of medium does not effect the oscillations of the source.but compulsory velocity changes when medium changes that is why only wavelength changes

It does! Velocity of light in glass depends on its frequency: hence dispersion by a prism.
