Question

A man bought some photo frames for $540 but two were broken. He sold the rest of the photo frames at a price of $6 more than the cost each. Finally, he made a profit of 10%. How many photo frames did he buy?
My way of doing this:
540/(x-2) - 540/x = 1/10 [540/(x-2)]
this gives x= 20 or 2 (rej)
i am not sure if this is correct or not because i didn't use the info ($6...) Am i correct?
