I sketched the area and a few field vectors so you'd have an idea... the only field through the area is 100k (50i is parallel to the plane of the area) ...so 100N/C * Area = flux

don't forget to convert square cm to square meters before finding the value of flux

so if it was (50i +100 j), the flux would equal zero, right?
