Compositions of Functions Given: f(x) =2x+7 g(x) = x^2 h(x) = x-1 Now they want me to solve f(g(h(x))) but before I can do that, I need to know how to write out the problem :( can someone please help me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2x+7[x ^{2}(x-1)]\] That's how it's written out. Work from the inside, out. Do you have it from here, or do you still need help?

Ohh okay so i do what's in the brackets first and after that I multiply what i got times 2x+7?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup, that's it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then would it be (2x+7)(x^3 - x)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right, but the x at the end would be x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you're not going to get a clean answer, just the simpliest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh okay i got it now! thank you so much! :D
