You are tiling a floor that's 10 ft wide by 4 yd long. How many square yard tiles do you need? 13 1/3yd^2 13 1/2yd^2 20yd^2 40yd^2

OpenStudy (jackellyn):

Well you need to know the area of the floor, the area is the length times the width. A= L * W A= 10 FT * 4 YD But you have to get them in the same units so convert FT to YD 1 ft = 0.333333 YD so how many yd are in 10 ft?
