PLEASE HELP!! During an experiment, which factors are observed and measured? (Scientific Inquiry Scale Level 2) a. dependent variables b. independent variables c. constants d. hypotheses

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know what each option means?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hypotesis is an educated guess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if i was trying to find out how the amount of water in a kettle affects the time taken to boil then: "the amount of water in kettle" would be the independent variable (the one you change) "the time taken to boil" would be dependent, because we think it depends on the amount of water we use a constant here would be the type of kettle we use, we want to use the same kettle each time so it's a fair test like you said a hypothesis would be a guess "i think a larger amount of water takes a longer time to boil" does this make sense so far?
