if 4r+7s = 23 and r-2s = 17 then 3r+3s= ?

So I was sitting there like why does this question look dumb familiar and i was like this is defiantly David.

All you do is multiply the bottom equation by -4 and the 4r and -4r cancel. And -2 becomes 8s so 7+8 = 15s and 17 times -4 is -68 and 24-68 is -45. 15s= -45 s=-3 now substitute.
