I storyboard is basically a series of images put together to illustrate the story visually. It may or may not have words included, depending on the format of the work being presented, such as graphic novels. There is a beginning, middle, and end generally depicted. It is kind of the Cliff's Notes version of how the story is supposed to flow. Hope this helps.
