OpenStudy (rmrjr22):

A viscous fluid moves down an incline resulting in the velocity profile given below. a. Determine the volumetric flowrate in terms of h, b (distance perpendicular to plane of paper) and Vo (surface velocity). b. If the fluid is SAE 10W motor oil, determine the mass flowrate b =0.3m h = 0.005m Uo = fluid velocity at top surface Uo =0.2m/s spec grav=0.87 density =870 kg/m3 c1 = 80 c2 = 8000

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Have you drawn the profile of the flow? Do you know velocity of layer with respect to distance from the plane?

OpenStudy (rmrjr22):

What I have above is all the info. U = Vo

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

What does "spec grav" mean? Where is the velocity profile mentioned? What is c1, what is c2? There is no hope someone can answer the question if so much information is missing.
