I found the answer to a problem but now it has to be approximated to the nearest tenth of a unit. i can use my calculator. HELP PLEASE :P

OpenStudy (aripotta):

what's the answer that you got?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

242 (:

OpenStudy (aripotta):

well, you can only round to the nearest tenth if you have a decimal in your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well what the flamingoes that's what I thought, but my teacher must've been having a derp moment. Okay so let's say it was 242.25 how would you do it?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

it would be 242.3. the 2 is in the tenths place and in order for it to be rounded up to 3, the hundredths place has to be 5 or greater. and since it is, it can be rounded up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks! You're the best :D Can you help me with more?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

wait does angle PDB = (15x - 5) or (15x + 5)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
