How are isometric drawings and nets similar? How are they different?

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

Isometric drawings are designed to show a three dimensional view of an object. The width and depth are both drawn at 30 degree angles. It is not disclosed how it is similar and different from nets @isaidrawr
