you draw the graph for
y=|8-m|

then you will see where they meet on the graph

just remember that the modulus graph is a reflection of y=8-m and only has positive values you you will have two lines
y=8-m
and
y=-(8-m)

you may have 1 or 2 points where it crosses

so your graph will look something like
