an example for that

1) 5x+7y= -3. 2x+3y= -1. The denominator block [which I would call determinant or matrix if the text editor would provide decent graphics] is 5 7 2 3. Its value is 1. [5*3 - 2*7 = 15 - 14.] The par column is -3 -1, so the x numerator block is -3 7 -1 3. Its value is -2. [-9 - (-7).] With a denominator of 1, this also means x = -2. The y numerator block is 5 -3 2 -1. Its value and the value of y = 1.
