ANyone??

OpenStudy (phi):

what does the limit say x--> ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x-->2 i guess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since function g(x) is continuous, it's lim is equal to it's value at the point. So you can substitute g(x) for g(2)=6 in the expretion under lim sign. Same story for f(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let's see, if g(2) = 6, then it becomes 3*f(2) + 6*f(2) = 36 combine like terms: 9*f(2) = 36 divide and...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its limit as x approaches to 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so f(2)=36/9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which is 4!

thanks you all!! :)
