A bowling ball traveling at a constant speed hit's the pins at the end of the alley 16.5 m away. The bowler hears the sound of the hit pins 2.5 s later. If sound travels at 340.0 m/s, how fast was the ball traveling down the alley?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2.5 = 16.5/v + 16.5/340

Can you explain that please... like with the original formula & all?

time = distance/speed
