With P for Parenthesis first, then Multiply and Divide, Then Add and subtract.

Herein this equation of 2/9(-7/8) we can rewrite it as:
\[2/9*(-7/8)\]
Now while we can follow the saying exactly as stated we also tend to put parentheses around fractions. Question: Is 2/9 a fraction?
