how do u do 3x>51 i need to show work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Divide both sides by 3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide 3 by 51 and you get the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just divide both sides by 3 x > 17

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you must divide by 3 on both sides and that will get u 17 so therefore the answer should be x>17

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To show work I guess you could put: 3x > 51 /3 x > 51/3 x > 17

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide both sides by 3 you get x > 51 therefore \[x \in (17, \infty )\]
