Please help A store has 39 qt of milk some in pint cartons and some in quart cartons. There are six times as many quart cartons as pint cartons. How many quart cartons are there?

P is pint cartons, Q is quart cartons. Total milk M is the amount of milk in both types of cartons, and it happens to be equal to 39 total quarts.
But you also should know something about pints and quarts, specifically that a quart is equal to 2 pints
oh, wait, I think I'm messing this up
I misread the question
number of quart cartons is 6 times the number of pint cartons So you could say 6P is the number of quart cartons
