Write a function for the situation. Is the graph continuous or discrete? A movie store sells DVDs for $11 each. What is the cost, C, of n DVDs? A. C = 11n; continuous B. C = 11 + n; discrete C. C = 11 + n; continuous D. C = 11n; discrete

hartnn (hartnn):

1 DVD = 11$ so 'n' DVD's = 11n $ so the function is C+11n. got thus ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kinda, not too sure exactly

hartnn (hartnn):

typo:C=11n. now since the number of DVD's cannot be a fraction or cannot take any real values, but can only take discrete integer values like 1,2,3,4,....so it would be discrete.

hartnn (hartnn):

which part did u not get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah.. okay thanks (: also, cool pic haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i get it now

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome :)
