Find The Sum 4 2 - + - 7 5

OpenStudy (cgreenwade2000):

Do you know how to find common denominators? Tha's the only way to add or subtract fractions.

OpenStudy (amorfide):

when adding fractions you want to get the same denominator (bottom number) to do this you will see what the first number that 7 AND 5 go into the easiest way is to do 7x5 this is 35 you want to get 35 on the bottom to do this you multiply the first fraction by 5 but because you multiplied the top by 5 you multiply the bottom by 5 this gives 20/35 the second fraction to get to 35 on the bottom you multiply 5 by 7 so you multiply the top by 7 this gives 14/35 |dw:1348252853865:dw|
