These are not negatives, the line is suppose to be near the top of the numbers but I couldn't figure out how to get it up there.

Well if the power to 2 is included then the negative sign disappears if it is and even power 2,4,6,8...etc. the minus sign is included it is still negative if it is a negative exponent
