Just a sec.
OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

it's asking for complimentary angle of angle 3.
Complimentary agnles add upto 90*
So, it's angle 2.
OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):
For question 3.
Vertically opposite angles are equal of each other|dw:1348279518333:dw|
OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):
Therefore, 2 and 5 are v.o.a.
OpenStudy (anonymous):

i want a 100percent on this assignment it will bring me to a B
OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):
They all are easy, you'll get it.
OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):
Suppose the angle be x.
And since it's a supp. angle, hence (180 -x)
And since it's 3 times of that, 3(180-x)
And as it's 20 less out of it.. so:
x=3(180-x) - 20
x=540-3x-20
4x=520
x=130*
OpenStudy (anonymous):
is this 9
OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):
Now let's check:
If x is 130, then the supp angle of x is 180-130 = 50.
Three times the supplement of x is 3*50 = 150.
And 20 less than that is 150-20 = 130.

number 8 y + 3x = 180
3x = 75
y + 75 = 180
y = 105 deg
OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):
3x = 75
x = 75/3
x = 25
