Write the numeral as a Hindu-Arabic numeral. σσθ

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh gawd this question is so hard, but I got 299 I'm I right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ask if you need options..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hold on let me find my book with this in it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you using the book called A survey of mathematics with applications

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No :O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh I just thought if you were you could tell me a page number but hold on I found the page I am just trying to remember how to do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh yeah this one isn't so easy...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is 279

OpenStudy (anonymous):

really :O but why

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am not sure I think you subtract something some where I just know that is the answer because that was on my test

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or there is a typo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it doesn't make sense because the symbols don't add up σ = 200 σ = 200 θ = 9 so logic would tell you that it is 409 but that is not a choice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is why I think there is a typo

hartnn (hartnn):

what are your options ?
