Can someone please help me find that slope of the line? The graph is posted here.

Find two points on the line...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To me they are : (2, 0) and (0,5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you identify the x and y intercepts? from the y intercept, how many units down and how many units to the right to get to the x intercept?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now use the slope formula: \[Slope = \frac{y_2 -y_1}{x_2 - x_1}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 units down 2 to the right... i think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

from the y intercept, (0, 5) ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why 3 ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i counted three....guess thats wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Look carefully where the line intersects y axis ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the rise is 4
