OpenStudy (anonymous):

intercepts are points where the lines cut the axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i have to find x&y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first put y=0 and calculate x-intercept second put x=0 and calculate y-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for x-intercept, set y=0, because y=0 is the eqn of the x-axis

OpenStudy (aravindg):

divide whole equation by 15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

understand how the concept works?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u are correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

omg so much help XD

OpenStudy (aravindg):

we will get the form x/a+y/b+=1 which is intercept form where a is x intercept, b is y intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks everyone

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide whole equation by 15 and compare with eq given by @AravindG

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thx Him1618 got it

OpenStudy (aravindg):

x/a+y/b=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (aravindg):

XD us smiley for laughing lloud :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):
