actualy I can't get situation properly here, means how d calculation has performed here..
but if u want to write a code for dat den u can write like dat:
if (type==extra)
tax=4/100;
else if(type==soft)
tax=8/100;
else if(type==superior)
tax=14/100;

if(type==extra)
discount=100
else
discount=50
