choose a number, multiply by 2 add 7, multiply by 5, ?, divide by 10, subtract starting number, and end up with seven. What is the missing step!

the number is 7 and after subtracting the answer to the starting number, add 3.5 and you'll get 7. try. tell me if I'm wrong
