the sum of th measures of two complementary angles is 90 deg. If one angle meansyre 6 deg more than twice the meausre of the other, fine the measure of the smaller angle

let x be the smaller angle let the larger angle be 2x + 6 then since they are complementary x + 2x+ 6 = 90 just solve the equation for x
