The velocity of sound in air is given by the equation (posted below) where v is the velocity in meters per second and t is the temperture in degrees celsius. Find the velocity when the temperture is 117 degrees celsius. Round to the nearest meter 1 sec.

All you need to do is plug in 117 where t is in the equation. So, you would have 20*sqrt(273+117). Solve it, and leave enough significant digits so you can round to the nearest meter/sec.
