I am A bit confused (Just curious) on what is the function of the structure of a fungal rhizoids? does anyone know I read about it in an artricle and i am unaware of what the function for it all i know is that the article showed a microscope view of the rhizoids

I'm guessing they anchor the fungus to the substrate. That's generally what rhizoids do.
