i'm lost i have no idea which answer it can be someone please help me? While performing an experiment on the enzyme amylase, Macy uses three different pH solutions: pH 3.0, pH 4.0, and pH 6.7. She finds that all the starch is broken down fastest at pH 6.7. How would you justify these findings? A:the optimum pH for amylase is pH6.7,at which the rate of reaction is the highest.B:the minimum pH for the amylase is pH6.7,after which the reaction takes minimum time for completion.C:the optimum pH of amylase is between pH3.0 and pH 4.0, at which the enzyme takes maximum time for completion

I am really n totally innocent in this topic

:/

np:(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks though :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where r u frm

OpenStudy (roku):

so isnt the answer A

OpenStudy (roku):

amylayse is a catalyst(helps speed up reactions) there 6.7 is the optimum(best) ph at which the catalyst amylase works best. MAKES SENSE??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes its A. Roku
